Daniel Gala

Last Saturday, October 23,  Mindy & I went to the Daniel Guiding Hearts Moonlight Masquerade Gala, held in the lobby of the Modis building in downtown Jacksonville. It has become the annual fund raiser for Daniel, with tickets starting at $125. There were about two dozen vendors there, contributing food and drinks for the donors. Several local restaurants were there, two open bars and a martini bar.

Vintage mimes danced around the crowd throughout the night.

Mindy had a booth with four flavors of cake from her company: Stover's Custom Cakes. She had Chocolate, Cinnamon Swirl, Pumpkin Spice, and Red Velvet Peppermint cakes to choose from. The big hit was the Red Velvet Peppermint.

Nova Era provided live music, dressed in their Baroque costumes.

The Cirikli Stilt Birds roved around, amusing the crowd.

A good time was had by all, and all in a very good cause.

One of our favorite offerings was the Beef Brisket Taco from TacoLu at Jax Beach

Labbruzzo Baby

This session was part 2 of the Labbruzzo family session. Baby Austin was perfect, sleepy but beautiful and filled with joy and smiles.

Big sister Mikayla started out a bit shy but when she saw her baby brother in his close up session she just had to get her fair share of camera time. Kids are funny that way and Mikayla was so adorable! Who knew a baby could influence an older sibling? Thank you baby Austin for showing big sis getting your photos done could be fun!

Moriniti Kids Portrait Session

This session was put together rather quickly and I am so happy with the results. The Moriniti family are returning clients, they needed some "head shots" for a talent agency review. These photos are both fun and elegant styles. since we specialize in weddings it was a nice change of pace to work with these kids again! Thank You Moriniti's!

Tropical Wedding

wow what a week! We had a wedding on Saturday and we did nearly everything; Cake, Flowers, decor and complete ceremony & reception set up. A family member did the official photography but we did get a few nice pics.

Pet photography; Kayli

Occasionally an event not wedding related entices us. Once such occasion is pets with their people especially dogs. In this unique session we captured the last day of a man's best friend Kayli a 14 year old Dalmatian. This sweet girl had lived a long life and now that she has passed we would like to share some of our favorite photos of her. This post is to celebrate the life of sweet Kayli, she will be remembered. 6-24-2010
